Early Arrival Temporary Housing
For students who do not have a place to stay while they arrange for long-term accommodations after they arrive in Los Angeles, USC Housing offers an early temporary housing opportunity for a limited number of International students in early August, prior to the start of the fall semester. Rather than pay hotel room rates, students and their families can stay in USC-owned apartments near the USC Campus for up to two weeks.

Dates available
July 31 to August 8, 2022.
Number of nights:
You may stay from 1 to 8 nights, but the nights reserved must be consecutive. The length of stay may be extended after arrival, but not beyond August 8, 2022.
Registration deadline:
July 13, 2022 (firm deadline).
Payment:
All charges are due upon e-mail confirmation of availability. Acceptable forms of payment are: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. Personal checks will not be accepted.
Refund policy:
No refunds for nights reserved but not used.
Parking (within the complex):
A parking permit for the entire duration of your stay is available for purchase during online registration or at check-in at the Cardinal Gardens Customer Service Center. The parking rate is $14 per day.
Accommodations:
One or two bedroom apartments in Cardinal Gardens Apartments, with private baths; each bedroom has two beds, with a capacity of one or two guests per room.
Apartments can be shared and families are welcome. At least one USC student must stay in each bedroom. Apartments will be assigned by USC Housing and may not be changed.
Rental Option 1
$48.00 per person per night + 14% LA City bed tax; two people per room in a one or two bedroom apartment.
Rental Option 2
$78.00 per room per night + 14% LA City bed tax; one person per room in a one or two bedroom apartment.
Rental Option 3
$180.00 per apartment per night + 14% LA City bed tax; an entire two bedroom apartment.

Cardinal Gardens Apartments
A large university apartment complex located directly across from campus at the corner of Jefferson and Hoover, Cardinal Gardens offers both one and two bedroom air-conditioned apartments.
Guests are welcome to enjoy Cardinal’s basketball ball court, BBQ and outdoor seating area, as well as the indoor rec-room with a pool table and big screen TV. The Cardinal Gardens Customer Service Center is located in the center of the complex.
Cardinal Gardens apartments are air-conditioned; each bedroom has two beds, accommodating one or two guests per room. The apartments have kitchens with stoves and refrigerators, though kitchenware, utensils and others supplies are not included. Each apartment has a bathroom, with commode, shower and double sinks. Basic furnishings (beds, table, chairs, etc) are included, but no TV. Linens are provided and changed once per week.
